Beyond the Veil: Sedona's Halloween Costume Dance Experience Lands at humankind Oct 25

The veil is thinning. On Saturday, October 25, humankind opens its doors for Beyond the Veil — a Halloween costume experience unlike anything else on Sedona's calendar. This is not a party you watch from the edges. It is seven hours of ecstatic dance, ceremony, live music, sound healing, and conscious community — and you are invited to step through in your most mystical, celestial, fantasy, or Halloween-inspired attire.

What happens when Sedona dances beyond the veil?

The evening unfolds in two movements. At 4:00 PM, a pre-event workshop opens the space with a conscious movement and activation experience — an hour to arrive in your body before the night takes flight. Then from 6:00 to 11:00 PM, the floor belongs to an extended ecstatic dance: opening and closing ceremonies, live Moonbabe performances, a sound bath to integrate it all, and five hours of movement with a community that knows how to celebrate consciously.

Who is performing?

Siren Gliss opens the evening with a one-hour DJ set built to welcome the community onto the dance floor — the first steps of the journey beyond the veil, guided by one of the scene's most intentional selectors.

Alexandra “EIR” Freyer follows with a powerful 90-minute performance that blends music, movement, embodiment, and immersive energy. If you have danced with EIR at humankind before, you already know: she does not perform at a room, she moves through it.

Heather Christie closes the arc with a 90-minute Moonbabe performance centered on music, expression, movement, and transformational connection — songcraft and ceremony woven into one.

Together they represent the Moonbabe Collective — and October 25 is the collective in full force, on one floor, for one night.

What should I wear?

Come dressed as whatever calls you from the other side: mystical, celestial, fantasy, or classic Halloween. This is a costume experience — the dance floor is the gallery, and you are the art. Barefoot-friendly, substance-free, all bodies and all levels of dance experience welcome.
